Well my opinion is that this doesn't happen because only the Master of the creation (God) can know it.
I'm a muslim (elhamdulillah) and I pray to God and I think you can die an any time ! This is only my opinion !

Of course let's not get into a political debate of whether god exists or not, Everyone is entitled to believe what they want. I love 2012 it's an awesome movie but you have to watch at highest quality xD.

complete bullcrap! there is no way it can happen! read up on Mayan history and read how stupid they were and how many mistakes they made, i mean comon, they sacrificed people to the sun gods thinking it would bring rain and other complete garbage like that! that's just ridiculous!

The movie 2012 was a GREAT movie, I personally really enjoyed it.
It took me a little bit to get into it, but about 30 minutes into it I really started to enjoy it.
The ending was great.

The movie just brings to us about the end of the world... Cant u see that, we are destroying our planet for economic purposes ???? ... Movie is just movie, they make movie for us to watch and enjoy...And it never happened .. So the movie about Terminator , will one day robots are more inteligent than human ??? So the movie about zombies such as Resident Evil , The house of the dead .Are zombies real ???? So the movie about Killer like Haloween, Texas ... ,are these killer real ??? Of course not, there are no robot,no zombie or no killer like this .s...

And also 2012 is gud movie, they just follow the Mayan calendar to make the movie... So dont need to care much about Maya people, they are not gud enough to predict this happening

It's not bullcrap! - the idea of 2012 is when the alignment between EARTH and other element of the universe form a straight line, which mean, the EARTH may spin slower and the center pulse (CORE) may change the anglel, and that will cause disaster, and we are not know if this going to happen, but the movie shown when it's happen its will change human life to cave-man again.

Well, I hope nothing like that happens in 2012 ^^ I like our planet and my life...
And it´s true, we´re destroying the planet, but most people o just not care... they think it is normal that they can live their wasteful lives, but I think the day will come all those people will finally recognize what they have done wrong.
And I must say, I am one of these persons myself... I think we all are.

for the movie: well, its pretty good, with all its CGI And other special effects its really a nice movie with a nice story behind it.

as for "End of the World" thingy, i dont know yet, well, theres a lot of earthquakes happening all around the world these days and all of it is pretty much devastating. Maybe it would really happen, or maybe not, only Him from up above knows the answer

I think, better said hope that something happens in 2012, cuz the humanity is going down. Just looking in what state some people are frightens me.
Not the end of the world but something will happen....i guess
And about the movie, haven't seen it yet, but some say it's crap other say it's awsome.
Still gonna watch it myself .
